Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The phlegm or mucous is usually caused by respiratory tract infection and is self limiting. Normal saline nebulization will be very effective.
Also addition of Simyl MCT drops 10 drops thrice a day will be beneficial for weight gain.

Take Care

Best Regards
Dr Deepak
