Suggest Treatment For Reopened Cut On Penis After Having Sex

Hi this is kind of embarrasing, but my boyfriend had a small cut on his penis and we had refrained from intercourse until it healed..the next time we engaged in intercourse it broke open again.. and he has notice the skin looks raised now kind of like a wart..any idea what this may be and any treatment for it?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be phimosis or frenular tear. It's difficult to say without examination. Please ask him to get it checked by doctor. Meanwhile, he can do "Penile Bath"- taking lukewarm water and add antiseptic lotion, dip penis there for 5 minutes and repeat it twice a day.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy Dasgupta, OB & GYN Specialist
