Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my 6 month old baby has started taking nan when he was 4 months because he had a lot of allergies mainly wheat. problem now is that he is taking only 80 ml for the whole night and most times during the day he prefer taking water than his formula. he is not gaining enough weight and very restless.
At 6 months of age you should start weaning, give him semi solid foods like mashed banana, boiled and mashed rice, boiled and mashed potato, his diet should include three times of semi solid foods and rest all milk, he should be able to tolerate semi solid meals and should gain weight. Hope this helps
