Suggest Treatment For Redness And Raised Spot On The Eye

Hello, I have one eye with redness, with a raised spot in a line between the inside corner of my eye and the iris. The spot is a little white spot right next to the edge of my iris. It isn t painful, just sore and irritated. Feels like a scratch or a stye when I blink. I do not remember getting anything into my eye or injuring it. I have had the sore redress for a couple of weeks, but now the raised spot is getting worse. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to conjunctivitis or pink eye. I recommend using artificial tears to relieve the symptoms. I also recommend using warm compresses for relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
