Suggest Treatment For Red Rashes On The Chest

Hi Doctor, Around a month back I started experiencing red rashes around my chest. They seem to appear in circular type patches and seem to disappear as per their convenience within a few minutes or a few hours all by themselves only to reappear again in another random location of my upper body. I visited a general physician two weeks ago and he suggested a blood test, LFT and KFT for me. The tests came out to be normal and the doctor suggested that I wait these rashes out as they will disappear all by themselves. Even I believed that notion and continued my daily lifestyle but something this morning has again caught my attention. I realised that the left side of my neck (slightly above collar bone, I guess supraclevicular region) was slightly swollen and there happens to be another bump like structure slightly below my left ear and around middle of my neck. It is round and can be felt. It also moves as I press on it! Yet I feel no pain or any discomfort. Now, I believe this could be due to the fact that my lymph glands are trying to fight off infection but I need your advice on whether or not should I get tested for any STD such as HIV or for any cancerous ailment? If so then what kind of doctor should I visit (specialisation) and what tests should I specifically opt for? I want these tests done as I see no harm in getting oneself checked for sexual diseases or cancer as a matter of fact! It will help eradicate any doubts whatsoever. Reason being that these symptoms appeared after having a sexual intercourse with a woman (protected with condom, but still chances exist) around 29th of January. The very next day I saw a bloody zit followed by more reddish-purple pimple like structures all over my forehead and cheeks. Within a week I started having these rashes and now the latest culprit is the swelling of my lymph nodes around neck region. I am really scared and want to make sure that it is not HIV or cancer. Note: I don t experience fever or diarrhoea.

Hi the symptoms appear to be due to acute urticaria.it can be due to food allergy .drugs cold items.insect stings.the symptoms mentioned appear after one week of sexual intercourse indicates it can be due to glandular fever medically known as infectious mononuclueosis which has nothing to do with hiv or cancer.

Infectious mononuclueosis can be diagnosed by blood culture or biopsy of lymph glands effected or fax of lymph glands.consult a general physician or dermatologist for further treatment
