Suggest Treatment For Red Pigmentation Around Lips

Hi, doctor I have been using skin lite cream for sometime, firstly it showed great result on my skin tone as i have darkcomplexion but now there have been red pigmentation around my lips and nose its really embrassing plz suggest me any cream or remedy to get rid of this, plz do rply, thnks

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that use of steroid based cream like Skinlite has led to inflammation of the skin around the lips and nose and seems to be leading to Perioral Dermatitis..
I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and advise you to apply topically ointments containing Doxycycline, Metronidazole..
You can also be advised oral intake of erythromycin..
Ointments containing Azaelic acid,Pimecrolimus etc can help..
Avoid any skin cosmetic or steroid ointments..
Avoid excess sun exposure, use gel based sunscreen lotion..
Do cool compresses around the lips..
If there is itching or pain you can also take anti histamine like Levocetrizine..
