about 3 weeks ago, my husband injured he right rear calf getting out of a very high pick up truck and has a lump at the site of the injury. about a week later his varicose veins reappeared and he put his compression stocking on and kept his legs elevated. He wore it until it became uncomfortable (about an hour or 2). The compression stocking has caused a very angry red inflamed line, progressively getting wider from his knee to his groin. He has had this for about a week now. What should we be concerned about and how to treat it.
