Hi, I have been experiencing stomach discomfort (occasionally I would call it pain) for some time now, primarily above the belly button but sometimes it can feel as though it is below. I saw a doctor about four months ago and he thought a course of anti-acids may resolve the issues. I suffered reactions though so stopped after 4 or 5 days. The discomfort/pain is not always there but is relatively frequent and enough to make me concerned, gence the visit to the doctor. it may or may not be related but, after drinking say 3 or 4 pints of lager, I often a little later feel very nauseus and suffer bouts of sneezing and a runny nose.
