Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. In individuals with anxiety disorder even while on treatment sometimes episodes of anxiety attacks are seen. These episodes are usually seen in stressful situations and in events of distress. In some individuals tingling, fear, lack of energy etc are seen. Medicines like Propranolol or low dose benzodiazepines if used on SOS basis can help to reduce the severity of attacks and can help to calm down. If these events are frequent then you should start your anti-anxiety drugs again. SSRIs or SNRIs are commonly used for treatment of anxiety disorder. Fluoxetine, Paroxetine, Sertraline etc are used commonly.

Apart from medicines behaviour therapy also have excellent roles in anxiety. Please consult your psychiatrist for proper prescription and treatment.

Thanks. Hope this helps you. Take care
