General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, as a physician I think we have to investigate cause of recurrent infections.

Common causes of recurrent throat infections are:
1) Incomplete treatment
2) Recurrent exposure of infections
3) Decreased immunity
4) Improper hygiene
5) Allergy

I will suggest you to review here with detailed history or consult with the ENT surgeon for detailed examination. I think you may require throat culture after consultation.

As per the report, take complete course of treatment and avoid allergens. Along with that you can continue with steam inhalation and betadine gargling twice a day.

Keep yourself well hydrated, maintain proper hygiene and drink boiled or purified water.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale
