Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Oral Cold Sores And Sores In Vaginal Area

I have always suffered from oral cold sores. Saturday I noticed what looked like a cold sore but on my vaginal area. I m so afraid to go to the doctor to confirm the worst. The blisters were hard and popped and now are open and look bloody. Is this what I think it is?

it depends on its distribution but yes, likely that's it. try with local acyclovir. for recurrences, unfortunately there are a few things to do: also taking sun or periods may lead to a recurrence. remember that Herpes Simplex Virus may be contagious also in the asymptomatic phase (without blisters): use sexual protections (dental dam and condoms) to avoid spreading of the disease
