Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Lichen planus is a chronic recurrent rash of unknown cause.Lichen planus generally affects adults and can involve any portion of the body, commonly the wrists, ankles, and oral and genital tissues.
Treatment of lichen planus :-
1.Topical steroid creams may also be useful. For localized, itchy, thick lesions, injections of corticosteroids may be given.
2. Antihistamines like benedryl/cetrizine may be given for itching. However, the itching may return after the drug has been discontinued
3.In more severe cases, physicians may recommend such as oral corticosteroids that is prednisone(solone tablets) or metronidazole (Flagyl).
4. Ultraviolet light (PUVA or NBUVB) treatment may help.
5. For painful lesions within the mouth, the use of special mouthwashes/gels containing a painkiller (such as lidocaine) before meals may provide some relief.
Unfortunately Lichen planus usually persists quite a while before resolving. The average duration of the condition is four years. Even after going away, lichen planus may recur. In some cases the disease heals by its own

Hope this information helps..
Don't worry you would be fine
