Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Elbow Area

I have a rash on my right interior of the elbow area. looks and feels like poison ivy. Benadyl tablets and spray are not a huge help as it still itches. I don t know where I would have been around poison ivy but oddly this appeared last Tuesday night while I was staying in a hospital room with my mother. I am concerned that I picked up something in the hospital. was just looking around webmd before going to a doctor.

it is allergic and contact dermatitis not related to any poison. it is to be treated with anti histamine, and you have started benadryl.appears it is not very effective. can change to tablet levocetrizine 5 mg daily morning in empty stomach and apply caladryl lotion.
