I take Levothyroxine 100mcg. About a year ago I got a rash on the inside of my calf. Then it went to the inside of Thigh and now it s pretty much all over. Biopsy and no diagnosis. I was thinking about this and remembered that my prescription tasted different. (I chew them, no water) I was wondering if the inactive ingredient was changed and maybe I am having an allergic reaction? Is Synthroid the same as Levothyroxine? I thought one was the generic. Can t seem to figure out this rash. It looks like a pimple, a small bump. Then it spreads out, then becomes dry and scaly and looks like a ring. Dries up and leaves a dark mark like a scar. Nothing I ve tried has gotten rid of it. Leaves dry patches...
