Suggest Treatment For Rapid Heart Rate, Muffled Heart Sounds And Low Temperature

Recently, I have had my 14 yr old cat at the vet multiple times. I first took him in last Thursday, my vet flushed his ears as he had a lot of wax buildup. After I got him home he was just laying around and became wobbly. Now he is very wobbly when walking, occasionally shakes his head and will fall, holds head tilted to his left side, laying in the spot, not eating or drinking. My vet is not sure what it could be. He said that he had a rapid heart rate, muffled heart sounds, & low temperature and said it could be heart related, making him weak. Blood tests came back ok. He was given IV fluids the last couple days as he has not been drinking (or eating). I mentioned vestibular syndrome. My vet said possibly, but there is not definitive test for this diagnoses. What are your thoughts? And what do you recommend for my cat to get his appetite back? Please help! Thanks!
