Suggest Treatment For Raised Red Streaks When I Scratch My Skin

I have two symptoms that I ve been working to figure out. First is Dermatographia where I itch my skin and it causes raised red streaks. This doesn t always happen, but is often triggered after I eat. I ve tried to exclude different things from my diet and still get the reaction. The second symptom is high anxiety and a headache on the front left side of my forehead.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You can take up an allergy panel test at a standard lab to identify what exactly you are allergic to. Get a dental work up and deworming done as any source of infection in the body can also be triggers for urticaria.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
