Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Painful pus filled bumps on chest, persisting for 4 months are most likely Inflammatory acne

If I was the treating doctor I would have prescribed you an oral antibiotic e,g either Doxycycline or Azithromycin for a few weeks (say 4-12 weeks).

Topical antibacterial like either Clindamycin gel Or Nadiflixacin gel and Topical Benzoyl Peroxide gel can be applied, at separate times of the day

An OTC anti inflammatory e.g ibuprofen once or twice daily would help you symptomatically deal with the pain.

Regards
