Suggest Treatment For Psoriatic Arthritis

Good Evening, I have finally been diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis after two full years of suffering. I have had chronic skin issues for years and I am finally getting some relief. However, I have chronic sores, swelling, scabs in my nostrils that is very painful and quite annoying. Is there any topical ointment that I can put in my nose?

Hi,

For the arthritis symptomatic medicine can only be tried like a non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug; Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen is the drug of choice.

You have mentioned the skin symptoms. If this is the allergic condition then steroid contained ointment can be used, for the dry nostril saline nasal drops can be tried with steam inhalation.

Drink more water, else it is nothing to worry, your further detail query will be welcomed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
