Suggest Treatment For Psoriatic Arthritis While On Methotrexate

I have been diagnosed with Psoriatic arthritis and am firing my current Rheumatologist because she insist to continually administer Kenelog injection into my hands and wants to send me to a pain clinic for my lower back pain. I am currently taking methotrexate and folic acid and ibuprophen which help my symptoms but my flares and joint stiffness are affecting my daily activities I have appointment with a new Rheumatologist this month am I doing the right thing?

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, I actually try to avoid giving steroid if this is the case of rheumatoid arthritis condition because even after giving steroid pain remains as it is and for the time being it goes away, instead of this try to change the life style, NSAID is the drug of choice for the pain, I could say that you have the option and you did the right thing but over all result will be the same, try to increase the pain bearing capacity too, hope this information helps.
