Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of scalp psoriasis, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't apply hair oil at least for 2 weeks.
2. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
3. Apply a topical steroid plus salicylic acid lotion like Clop-S lotion once a day.
4. Use a salicylic acid plus tar (Salytar) shampoo once in 2 days.
5. Other treatment options are oral vitamin A, calcium, vitamin D3, methotrexate taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
