Suggest Treatment For Presence Of Pus Cells In Stools

Hi Doctor, i have a query regarding my 2 year old child.......she is getting Puss cell in Stool........where we have checked with doctor, he has given a medicine yesterday. But still the same thing is continuing......please let me know what next step we can take care regarding the same.

Hello,

It can be a minor gastroenteritis. If the child is asymptomatic, nothing much to worry and no need to chase the stool results.

As of now ask the child to drink plenty of water to keep the child hydrated. You can repeat the test after two weeks.
