Suggest Treatment For Pneumonia While On Zinnat

Hello I did hvs and the result came with Klebsilla pneumonia. Is it dangerous and it will spread to my husband or not?? What is cause for it and I start today tab.Zinnat 250 mg three times for one week. Completely it will go or what precautions should take for the future

Hi,

Klebsiella pneumoniae is contagious and can spread to your husband, but not dangerous. The air borne transmission is usually not seen, the catheter and ventilator equipment in hospital are major sources of transmission.

It will be cured completely and following are the precautions to follow:
@ Continue your medications as per advise of your doc.
@ Both of you should maintain hand hygiene practice to its best.
@ Consume balanced, nutritious diet to recover faster.
