Suggest Treatment For Pimples On The Nose And Rashes On The Face

I had a rash type group of red spots similar to pimples but way redder appear to the right of my nose. I thought they had gone away but after my shower this morning, the rash is back with a vengeance. Do I need to see a dermatologist or is this a herpes type virus?

Hello,

As per your query, you have symptoms of pimples on the nose and rashes on the face which is due to clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum and dead skin and get infected.

I would suggest you to exfoliate your face once a week and apply aloe-vera gel. Drink 8 to 9 glasses of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. Cover skin with cloth when exposure to sun and take proper course of anti-inflammatory medications.

If condition doesn't start getting better in a month, then consult dermatologist Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course to subside infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
