Suggest Treatment For Pimples Due To Bee Stung

A bee stung me on my right thumb base knuckle. A week later and the site is still tender and now slightly resembles a pimple. It is pink, round, slightly raised and quite tender on the head. I did the paste of meat tenderizer and do not believe the stinger is still in there. If I soak it in epsom salts and open it with a needle to drain, would that help it heal?
