Suggest Treatment For Pimple On The Labia Minora

Hello, today i researched and made sure it wasn t an std (didn t see any other signs suggested on me although i do want to go for tests), but i do have a pimple on my labia minora. And it s too deep to pop and online several clinical websites suggest to put a warm cloth or water on it and after a while pop it. This was proven difficult for me since my pimple is too deep under the skin. What do you think I should do? And I m too scared to go and see anyone in person since I m not comfortable with it but i understand that i will need to soon anyways. On top of that there s always a yellow discharge-i am late in my period (haven t had sex) and i do understand that it could just be blood being mixed with the normal amount of discharge, but my pee also comes out a daark orange. please help :)

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As first-line management, you can try clindamycin lotion for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and plan for cauterization or cryosurgery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
