My two kids both came down with a skin condition it mostly looks like pimples. Some of them have white heads some don t. I ve tried cortisone cream and they don t seem to be getting worse, but they re not clearing up very quickly. One of the spots on my son developed a red line coming from it. Any ideas?

The most likely diagnosis of your condition based on the description is acne vulgaris. You must avoid using cortisone cream as it actually worsens acne.Topical treatment options include Topical Tretinoin 0.025 percent gel at night time along with topical clindamycin in the morning if they have any pus filled lesions. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
