Suggest Treatment For Persistent Loose Motions In A Child

Hi my son is 6months old and from past 1 month he is suffering from loose motions.Initially when it started our pediatrician gave antibiotic since reducing substance stool test gave result as Trace. After giving antibiotic diarrhea stopped but just after two days it started again so we conducted the stool test again and this time it came as positive so doctor advised to stop breast milk as baby was passing stool continuously and was loosing his weight too almost 500 GM s.now he is on Zerolac and zinc supplement (which will finish in next two days) which has improved his condition 100 percent but when I offered him.breast milk he passed the same in stool immediately.what should I do in this case how will I fulfill his lactose requirements.Till 6months I was giving him breast milk and NAn pro.

Hello, After going through your query I am of the opinion that your child is suffering from lactose intolerance.You can give him lactose free milk.You can start weaning by giving him boiled mashed potatoes,rice&dal water.
