Suggest Treatment For Persistent Itching On The Scrotal Area
i had a vascectomy 15 years ago and have since suffered from intense scrotal itching ... i have been to multiple doctors and they can find no fungal issues ... i was told it was candida and have for the past 2 years been on medication for candida and it has not helped either. on a hunch i began to search to see if there was any link between a vascetomy and itching and today i found an online message board where many men complain of exactly the same thing. have you ever heard of this?... is a reversal the only cure? -Bruce
Hi, Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. Please find my advice below-: 1)It has no relation with your operation 2)Do a blood DC to ruled out Lymphatic Filariasis 3)Do a full blood count to ruled out any infection present 4)Do a pelvic ultrasound exam to rule out pathology to prostate and scrotum
I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best. Thanks,
