Suggest Treatment For Persistent Gastric Problem

Hi I am suffering with gastric problem I hope. Main my food timings or odd. No proper time. Whenever I have ginger or garlic in food burning sensation will start from throat to stomach level. And stomach shape will change like small balloon. If I take zinetac150mg problem will solve in 1 hour. Even I can't have ginger tea. And if I had mineral water also stomach burning will start. Some times gas will go to shoulders and back bone and use to get severe back pain. What will be the best solution.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent gastric problem which seems to be due to insufficient fibres in diet and due to electrolyte imbalance in body. It could be due to excessive production of acid in stomach. Need not to worry. Eat small and frequent meals. You condition can be corrected by two ways, first by changing lifestyle and secondly by starting intake of medicine. I would suggest you to avoid spicy and heavy meals especially at night. Avoid aerated and beverages containing caffeine . Consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order endoscopy of esophagus , X-ray of upper respiratory tract and ambulatory acid test. Doctor may prescribe antacid like gelusil , H2 blockers like ranitidine and proton pump inhibitor to correct the condition. Take a little walk after every meal.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
