Suggest Treatment For Persistent Dry Cough

My son has had cough for about 3 weeks, which was treated with amoxyl. He then aspirated about few days later; a suction was done for hum and he was given cefuroxime and Piriton and vitamin C. Now he s having slight dry cough a week later. What do I do?

your son should be examined and investigated. blood examination, and sputum must be examined. physician should auscultate the lung field. if every thing is normal then it can be only allergy. some anti allergic can be given with cough sedative.
