Suggest Treatment For Persistent Diarrhea

a few years ago, i got diarrhea and it would not clear up. My dr. said that I had lost all my good enzymes (at least that s what I think he said) and that he would prescibe something to replenish them. The first dose stopped it cold after a month long battle. It seems my husband is having a similiar issue and his dr. is just saying that diarrhea should clear up within a week. Well, mine didn t and his doesn; t seem to be either. do you have any clue what my dr. might have prescribed for me?

I really appreciate your concern, such diarrhea may not needs any treatment because frequency of passing of stool three to four time in day would be normal one but of course hydration is the matter of concern, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
