Learning how to deal with asthma. (Female -66). Yesterday my back/lung was sore for 2 hours, about 2 inches left of spine and about 5 inches above waist. Flovent (need a prescription) works better than ventolin ( on last refill). Should I take it every 4 hrs. Vs. when coughing? Will asthma turn to cancer? Mom died of cancer 2 yrs ago so I m nervous these symptoms will induce abnormal cells. Since I was born premmie, I have respiratory weakness but asthma is proving to be more challenging than bronchitis and pneumonia. Need to make appointment Tues. with my doctor.. Any suggestions until then? Thank you.
