General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is possible that she may have staph infection. This is a type of bacteria that live on the skin, some persons may have a variation that causes repeated infection.

She should be reviewed by her doctors and swabs did. If confirmed, she would need a long course of antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
