Suggest Treatment For Persistent UTI

Hi. I have all the symptoms of a UTI and have been taking over the counter alkaline drinks for 4 days now, and it is still there. I have had UTIs in the past and recognise all the same symptoms. I have 250g tablets of Clarithromycin at home. Can I use them to help my UTI. As the doctor fees are so high, I was hoping this would work?

Thanks for asking me this question.

In urinary tract infections first do culture and sensitivity test after start any antibiotics.

First 2 week start antibiotics than do antimicrobial sensitivity test of urine. By this way you can know antibiotic work properly or not.

Repeated urinary infection may me because of prostatitis. In pyelonephritis also UTI occur frequently.
In renal calculi case UTI can occurs.
Kidney infection also lead URL.

So ultrasonography for checking calculie in kidney.
