Suggest Treatment For Painful Inflamed Knee

I have been advised that I need a partial knee replacement. I have no cartilage in the right knee and my gait is altered so much that I have not only knee pain but have developed inflammation in the versa, also known as bursitis in my right hip. I have been taking oxycodone and voltaren to try and control the pain but the dose is so low it does not control the chronic pain. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are having osteoarthritis of knee and partial knee replacement is advised. You are also having bursitis. You are already on analgesic. I think along with analgesic you should also take Diacerine and glucosamine for osteoarthritis. These drugs helpful in regeneration of cartilage and prevent further damage. These drugs are slow acting drugs and there effect will start after 20 days. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. You can also write to me directly on below link:
