Suggest Treatment For Painful Hole In Gum

I just observed last night that there is a red colour hole in the gum of my one year old baby. She was crying a lot also last night. Her teeth has also not come till now and what is this happening/ i am really worried and don t know what to do. I am going to take her to the doctor today : but please explain me that it is due to what and what needs to be done/Is it common for the kids in this age?

Hi dear,
I understand your concern. You should be worried,but not too much .Your baby has teething syndrome. When tooth grows up the gum will ruptured and you will see hole,it is normal, you can apply dental gel for teething or Pantosal.If baby is very worried you can give Calpol as painkiller.
