General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted the history and understood the concerns.

Painful loose bowel movements, gas, tachycardia, feeling cold and sweaty hands indicate that you are probably suffering from intestinal infection.
Excessive loss of electrolytes can cause numbness and stiffness of fingers.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Get the stool test done.
Tests of blood for CBC, electrolytes, liver and kidney functions, sugar and thyroid functions.
Ultrasonography of abdomen.
Clinical evaluation by your Doctor.
All these will lead to a p[roper diagnosis and thus guide for proper management.
If there is any evidence of an intestinal infection then you may be prescribed an antibiotic active against intestinal infection, Metronidazole or Tinidazole and probiotics.
Activated charcoal helps.
Take plenty of oral fluids and electrolyte solution orally if there is no nausea or vomiting.
All other symptoms will be taken care of automatically on correct line of management

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
General Surgeon
