Suggest Treatment For Painful And Bruised Arm

I severely strained my right forearm hitting a golf ball. Ten days later I began applying heat to my forearm. Shortly thereafter my arm began showing bruises around the area hurting but mostly where heat has been applied. Seven more days and the bruises continue to spread. Do I need to see a physician?

My Dear

Welcome to Healthcaremagic!

I have analyzed your problem and feel that it is due to either application excess heat or applying heat after some irritants like pain relieving preparations have been advised for local use on the site of injury.

You would feel better if you reduce the temperature of applied heat and do not use any pain relieving gel or cream at least two hours prior to heat session.
I encountered this problem in several patients and invariably found that it had been due to application of medicines prior to heat.

Hope to hear from you with your experience or if you need help.

Best wishes1
