Suggest Treatment For Pain Post Hernia Surgery

I just had central hernia surgery w mesh today.doc told me I d have lathroscopic type done and I d only have to small incisions in my left side of abdomen.I was pretty upset when I got home to find not two but 7 total in a circle around abdomen,2 being inch long incisions.why? Also what s the most comfortable way to sleep.I ve had 3 c sections,a cervical fusion and another hernia removed in groin area before and all incisions were on the same c section scars but I ve never felt so much pain.thank u, sondra

Regarding your experience with pain following post herniorrhaphy as well as previous caesaran section I am suggesting that you take some opioids and regarding the position that is comfortable for sleeping I will suggest you use the supine position
