Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Back Of The Knee For An 18-year-old

I was suffering from acl and grade 2 medial meniscus tear and deficiency of d3 now its 5 months from my recovery still i cant sit by folding legs i.e cross legs ..n feel pain in back of the knee sometimes after i do some activity i m only 18 years old and all this has terrified me plz help sir ...and my legs get numb while sitting cross legged

Hi,

I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for further evaluation. You need to have an MRI done.

If it shows your meniscus tear is mild (Grade 1 or 2), you may not need surgery. If it is Grade 3, your doctor will probably might do meniscus repair or meniscectomy.
