Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Back And Hip After Injury

Hi, my name is Destiny. On September 21, is was hit by a car and sent to the urgant care near my home. Well, after xrays, they told me I was fine, but a nurse told me I could develop injures after a period of time. Well, for about a week or so the pain in my hip started and groan more intense, and now I have back pain. Should I be concerned that I have injured my hip or not, what do you think it is? Should I see someone about it? it hurts to walk, but hurts more when I lay down or sit, or walk for a long period of time.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pain can increase days after an acute traumatic event.

The x rays would have ruled out any fracture so the pain is likely due to soft tissue injury.

This can typically last 1 to 2 weeks.

During this time, you need to protect the affected area by limiting movement as much as possible.
IN addition the use of warm compresses and anti inflammatory pain medication would help.

Anti inflammatory pain medication include naproxen, cataflam and ibuprofen.
One of these can be used, they are over the counter medication and should be used with meals to protect the stomach.

I hope this helps
