Hello my daughter was bucked off a horse and drug about two foot on Nov 15, we took her that day to ER and she complained of her leg hurting about middle of the calf, so they xrayed her leg and didn't find any breaks, she had swelling below ankle bone and leg, told her to start walking on it, she did and a bruise came out on side of leg, and still had swelling in her ankle, week later her ankle and heel started hurting took her back and they xrayed her ankle and foot and said it was just a sprain, advised her to brace her ankle for one week she did that and rested for a week, now the outside of her calf where bruise was has a hard spot and still has swelling under ankle bone, still has pain. What could this be? Do we need to seek further medical attention?
