General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The pain lower back, buttocks and thighs, legs indicate nerve compression effects at lower lumbar spine region. Primary guidelines for best recovery:
- Local application of heating pad
- Use analgesic spray or ointment with Diclofenac or Linseed oil
- Analgesic and anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen, Diclofenac or Etoricoxib
- Postural adaptations to avoid sudden bending, weight lifting
- Assisted physiotherapy
- Epidural analgesia in selected cases
- Refractory conditions may need a spine surgery as well

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
