My husband burned his ear last week while using a welding torch(I m talking about inside the ear, he thought metal slag flew off into his ear?) He went to the ER that night and waited 4 hours and finally left without being seen..his hearing was muffled and he was in pain too. He went to our family Doctor 2 days after he injured his ear. The ear drum looked pink but intact. It has been a week since the injury happened and his hearing is still muffled. We are concerned that this may be permanent and should he be going back to the doctor asap?
