Suggest Treatment For Pain And Bruising On Foot

I have pain and bruising on the outside/mid-part of my foot on a specific point. There is bruising across that side of my foot and pain to the touch of about the size of a 1 x 1 area, but it does radiate throughout my foot. Are these symptoms of gout?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello, no, the symptoms you described donot appear to be of gout, An acute gouty arthrithis presents with an episodic excruciating pain , most commonly invoving the joint of the great toe. Moreover, there is no bruising there.
The symptoms you mentioned are suggestive of a trauma to the foot (might be trivial which you may failed to notice). I would adv you to give some rest to your feet, take an analgesic like tab Zinase-D 1 tab twice daily and apply parasoft cream onto your feet.
The symptoms should go with these in 5-6 days, if not, you may need to visit an orthopedician for Xray and evaluation.
Wishing a faster recovery
Thanks
Take care
