Suggest Treatment For Pain And Bleeding From Finger After A Skin Cut
My boyfriend sliced his middle finger and it is open about 2.5 inches and the nerves are visable,it is extremely painful for him and its still bleeding alittle (happened monday) he has been wrapping it and keeping antibotic cream on it.but like i said it s open and the nerve tissues are visable.what should he do?

I share your concerns about your boyfriend. I would advise you to take him to a clinic immediately. There might be injuries to blood vessels and nerves. If you delay, he may have some permanent damage to nerves along with a scar on his finger.
He will require thorough cleaning of wound. A detailed careful examination of wound and finger is required to look for the damage to vessels and nerves, as finger has very small nerves and vessels which may be missed. After repair of damaged nerves and blood vessels, stitching is required as injury is large. Clean sterile dressing is required in the last.
A course of antibiotics and painkillers is required for 3 to 5 days for complete cure.
