Suggest Treatment For Pain After A Broken Rib
I fell and hit my lower left back in the bottom rib area very hard against and auto mobile 2 days ago. I have a lot of pain and tenderness in the area. I am able to breath fine. The pain comes form touch, if I burp, move certain ways. Every once in a while I fell a popping sensation. Although the pain is on the lower left side it hurts more when I lie on my right side than on my left. What could it be

I really appreciate your concern, here chances of rib fracture need to be ruled out although soft tissue inflammation may give the same quality of pain as could appeared in rib fracture and in either case analgesic is the only treatment can be tried, hope this information helps take care
