Suggest Treatment For Oval Shaped Lump On The Lower Back

I have an oval shaped lump on the lower left back of my neck. It is about 1/2 inch in diameter and maybe 3/4 inch long. It s firm and can be rocked sideways a bit. It s been there for at least a month. I m thinking it s a lymph node and looking online make it seem like cancer, but so does anything you look up online. Thought I d get an opinion

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, possibility of lymphnode is more likely because neck is full of lymph glands.
Most common cause neck lymphnode enlargement is infection.
So don't think directly about cancer.
Get done ultrasound examination of neck and fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) to confirm the diagnosis.
Treatment is based on type of infection.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
