My mother is 80 years old and she has Osteoarthritis in both knees. She is having the shots in both knees that is suppose to help with the pain. The shots last about 3 to 4 days and then she is back in pain and her knees make a cracking sound and hurt. She also has meds that help with the pain but she is so depressed about it.
