Suggest Treatment For Numbness In The Neck And Nausea

My son is complaining of numbness from his neck to his feet that comes and goes, nausea (says something is bubbling up in his stomach), and his throat tastes minty. He has a doctor s appointment tomorrow, but I m just wondering if his symptoms are for real or if he is faking it to get out of something.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I can't say exactly if your son is faking, because a physical examination is necessary to decide if he is ill.

I'm considering his symptoms and I suggest you measure his temperature, keep him in rest because these might be signs of a viral syndrome.

I suggest you take him tomorrow to the doctor for a physical examination, to evaluate his health condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
